Worcester 1988

It’s the 1980s in New England, and a relatively long stretch of peace is suddenly shattered in the vampiric world. A fragile ceasefire between the Camarilla court and the Sabbat Diocese has come to a violent end, and large-scale conflict ignites the nights. A cold winter is ahead for all the vampires of the region. As the two largest sects ready themselves for war, the smaller vampiric organizations in the warzone do their best to take cover and prepare to ride out the conflict. Despite a bleak prospect of war, however, there is hope for the smaller factions. If a conflict between two superpowers burns both sides to the ground, could a third faction possibly benefit from this? The Anarchs of the barony of Worcester find themselves in a unique position to not only survive this conflict but possibly use it to their advantage.

Find camaraderie, form a gang, claim your turf, and take back the night from the entrenched powers to be. Explore an age of extreme greed, power, art, technology, and change. Worcester 1988 is A World of Darkness setting with a focus on rebellion, counter culture, politics, regional exploration, and gray morals. Players will be part of small teams, working towards common goals, and making group decisions that will have major impacts on the setting they are experiencing. Characters are to be scrappy underdogs, rebelling against the established powers to be in vampiric society while exploring the strange and dark region of New England. Plots will be themed around political brinkmanship, espionage, New England folklore, and culture clashes between very different societies.
